A filmmaker's dream of perfect feedback! This was emailed to us (unsolicited, I assure you) from a person I've never met who decided to order JAPARTA from the Ronin website.
"I've been a sturdy fan of Ronin for years and very much appreciate your efforts to curate and distribute remarkable cinema. Still, we were astonished. 'Japarta' is really next level, telling a complex story over many years, from childhood to afterlife, with all the nuances and also the power to move us."

Thank you to the writer of the feedback (if he sees this post).

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! The award-winning documentary, THE LAST VIOLIN, screens on SBS on Sunday 15 September at 4.05pm. The film is a spell-binding portrait of Master violin maker, Charalambos Vatiliotis, known as Harry, who is 85 and still works from his home in suburban Sydney, making superb violins for classical musicians. A film by Carla Thackrah and Romano Crivici.

"An enchanting film... it's a love story: a love story about music, a love story about the violin, and it's a love story about this extraordinary instrument maker.” - Phillip Adams, Late Night Live, ABC Radio National.
