Congratulations to the Labor candidates who were elected. I know that the lives of Canberrans and the future of the city we love, will continue to be better because of the values, commitment and hard work of the ACT Labor team.

I am so chuffed and proud of the history making result for ACT Labor. I feel very grateful and privileged to have been a part of it.

It was great to start Sunday at the launch of ACT Labor’s Women’s Plan and to celebrate the important achievements of Labor women, including
Labor will always fight to enhance the rights, opportunities and safety for women and girls.

That’s why Labor made period products freely available last year.

And it’s why if we’re re-elected, we’ll expand access to even more public places across Canberra.

It’s just another way we’ll keep working to break down barriers for women and girls.

What a treat it was to have the amazing join us door knocking in Coombs this afternoon! It was great to stop in afterwards for a chat.
