Thank you for joining us to celebrate the opening of VIEW2026, featuring works by Cass Li, Dylan Marriott, Elesa Stellios, Toni Tait, and XinShuo Zhuo. The exhibition continues in the photo access galleries until 11 July.

‘Across these five bodies of work, there is a collective questioning of the sacred value of what cannot be seen, captured or resolved through image-making. ‘VIEW2026’ offers an invitation to contemplate absence in all its forms, whether we encounter it in the crevices of a photograph, the scratch that finds itself as a brushstroke, or the silence that the machine cannot fill. All gesture toward an interiority, toward meaning that accumulates not by knowing, but by dwelling in the threshold.’ - Victoria Kung in the exhibition catalogue essay ‘Absencing as a Mode of Seeing and Being in Photography’.
