π Early morning walk along the streets of DC, was a highlight of the trip. We stayed in this neighbourhood and I could honestly live there. Despite tough times, we were met with friendliness everywhere.

NSW South Coast truly is stunning! During a brief stay at Narooma, I found a great walk with fabulous views. I've never played golf but this course has gotta be one of the best spots! β³

βοΈ Last week's walk, a hot morning on a great track skirting around Ginninderra Creek. Renovated bridges make it accessible for a slow walk or using the changing elevation for a decent workout!

πΏ A lovely morning walk in Sydney to kick off the 52 Hike Challenge for 2024! A tunnel path under the M2 Motorway opens up to the lush Lane Cove National Park. Hard to believe it's tucked within the city. ποΈ

π A great way to top off 2023 with an overnighter on the Canberra Centenary Trail. We really don't have to wander far for a little adventure.
π’ Thanks to Fyshwick Mont Adventure Equipment gear hire for the Moondance Ex tent, it was very cool.
β¨ We met a lovely couple at camp, lots of stories and I'm now keen to try the entire trail in sections next year, anyone interested? ππΆπ»ββοΈ

πΏ A lush kid friendly walk on a hot day! Had a great morning with lovely friends and their lovely children exploring at the Botanic Gardens. We saw lots of lizards π¦ on the trails, and a snake too π³!

βοΈ Today we woke up with mixed emotions, after the National Referendum, when our jurisdiction voted in favour of recognising our First Nations people, but the vote fell short in the rest of the country.
Serendipity happens, and I found myself on a walk with a dear friend and her daughters, our next generation of strong Aboriginal women.
In the nearby National Museum of Australia, people gathered for River Country Community Day, children were having a great time, because culture is respected, and a shared experience. So we walk on...
