Blackbird Power Racing won its first ever cup on Friday when the ever consistent Zoe Shark took out the Kristylea Bridge Cup at Taree. Purchased for just $2,500, Zoe Shark has now won four races and $153,625 for connections in her 20 starts since her purchase. That is more than 54 times her purchase price. Her excited owners look forward to taking her to town where we hope even more fun awaits Paul Perry racing.

Blackbird Power Racing celebrated its 200th runner in style at Newcastle on Saturday when Rothrock won her 7th race. Well trained as always by Paul Perry racing and ridden a peach by Anna Roper.

Congratulations to Zoe Shark, her owners, Trainer Paul Perry racing and Jockey Shae Wilkes on the much deserved win at Newcastle yesterday.

In her last seven starts our much loved Zoe Shark has won twice, been placed second on four occasions and an unlucky fourth all at provincial level. In just those starts she has won her connections $74,750.

Since being purchased through Inglis Digital in late September 2023, Zoe Shark has won $117,775 which is over 47 times her purchase price in just 17 starts!

An exhilarating performance by Summer Soiree saw the mare break her Maiden at Wyong in emphatic fashion on Saturday as she cleared out in splendid isolation by 8.3 lengths. Congratulations to our extremely important owners Michelle Kelly and Rachelle Clark and thank you to Annabel Neasham Racing for a memorable win.

It was very apt that it was Zoe Shark who took our prize money tally for our horses past the $1 million mark on Saturday. Running her typical gallant race Zoe Shark came second to collect $8,000. You won two races in town in our ownership after we purchased 45% in July 2023 for $5,500 on Inglis Digital. Since then you went on to win $179,650 in prize money.

You also led us to the Paul Perry racing stable who became our main trainers. They are a great team and even better people.

We are proud to announce the first foal of Blackbird Power Racing has been been born. A filly by Artorius from our mare Tot Of Rum at 3:45am on Friday 4 October. The start of exciting adventures to come.

Delighted for New York Style to get a much deserved second win today at Pakenham. Also very pleased for trainer Aaron E Laing Racing to make a winning return to training the mare. Well done on getting a winner at your first race start back Aaron.

Very excited to purchase our first Broodmare, Tot Of Rum, at the Inglis Broodmare Sales yesterday. Currently in foal to Artorius, we look forward to her new arrival in Spring after which she will be served by our stallion Grunt @ Yulong Investments
