Support With Jack

Few photos from the weekend, it’s been a bit slower on the side of fishing but still managed to catch a couple of small finger marks down at Stratford jetty along with Paanthu having some luck with small queen fish, regardless it was a great day with good people 😇

Couple of little fish we got over the weekend, there hasn’t been much movement in the tides but that hasn’t stopped us from catching Grunters, mangrove jacks, finger mark and even a nice little salmon caught by Jordan

Had a good day with the lads, went back to our spot to try and catch some more mangrove jacks, we didnt get any size ones but still had a heap of fun fighting the little fellas. Hope everyone had a great weekend 😇 ☀️

Did some arts and crafts with young Evelyn while the rain and wind are still here; ended up painting a pretty flower bowl for Mum. Evelyn thought it would be great to continue her amazing artwork on her nose, which I tried to stop her from doing with no success 😂

Hey sorry haven’t been posting for a while we’ve been moving house, Anyway although the weather has been absolutely abysmal we still managed to pull through with a couple of nice mangrove jacks Paanthu’s being 42cm and mine being 48cm. We used small to medium sized mullet which ended up being great having multiple hits and losing a couple of very good sized fish, will try the same spot again to repeat our success

We started off the Respite weekend with a nice 58cm Barramundi 15mins before heading home (“Patience is power” quoted to me by an 10 year old 😂) we started the Saturday with a great weather 🌦️ ended up missing out on a few fish but regardless we persevered, finished the Sunday strong with a nice dinner size mangrove jack caught by Paanthu to take home to the family!

First week of school holidays has been successful so far, Evelyn and I ended up going to sugar world, Evelyn asked me at one point if there’s a slide we can go down that doesn’t require stairs to which I laughed and said no regardless of that we still went down the slide 50 times 😂

Another respite done and dusted, a few very nice trout and emperor’s caught on the Saturday by Paanthu just to follow up with a some great mangrove jacks and Barramundi on the Sunday, I think dinners sorted for the next few week! 🐟

A great start to the Barra season with this nice 62cm Barramundi we caught followed by a 41cm Mangrove Jack, looking like fish for dinner this week for Paanthu and myself
