Truly demonstrates the importance of Osteoporosis Awareness!

Broken a bone after a minor fall? Ensure you get the care you need to prevent dangerous recurring fractures. Ask your doctor for assessment and treatment, preferably at a post-fracture coordination program/fracture liaison service near you.

Over 1.3 million Australians are currently living with osteoporosis. It is expected that around 1 in 2 people who have already had an osteoporotic fracture will have another. It is estimated that women lose up to 10% of bone mass in the first 5 years after menopause. To prevent osteoporosis, monitoring high-risk groups like post-menopausal women is key. If you want to monitor your bone health and share the results with your doctor, visit the link in our bio.

As we age, we lose bone mineral density which can lead to osteoporosis. DXA is the most useful and easy test that can measure the mineral content of our bones. By joining the Probone study, you can receive a FREE DXA scan and keep track of your bone health. Find out more by visiting the link in our bio.
