Due to the next couple of Monday's being holidays, there will be no training tonight and the May day monday also. Training as usual on the 28th April.

Our annual general meeting is on at the fire shed on Saturday 19th October 2024 at 10am

Due to the phone not being fixed by Telstra, the best number to contact the fire warden is 0418 212 065.

We have decided to change our training and meeting nights from Tuesday to Monday due to some members having other volunteering clashes on the same night.

As all the locals can tell, the fire ban has been lifted for the time being due to the rain that we really really needed.

The fire ban has been extended again until the 20th November 2023. If no rain, then this will probably be extended.

Due to the very dry conditions, there will be no fire permits issued until further notice. Sorry for the inconvenience but it has to be done due to the amount of fires getting out of control.

There is a very high fire danger this weekend, so be careful if doing any burn off's or lighting fires or even having an outdoor barbeque.

The Coonarr Rural Fire Brigade Annual General Meeting is being held at the fire shed on the 16th September 2023 at 10.00 [10am].

We are doing some hazard reduction burns near the Model Aero club and Golchert Dr from tomorrow and then Tuesday to Friday of next week. For any info call the Fire Warden Murray on 0418 212 065
