WE'RE EXPANDING !!!!
Earlier in the year we purchased a CNC Oxy/LPG profile cutter. It is capable of cutting mild steel anywhere from 16mm thick all the way up to 100mm thick. Although it can cut thinner material, the quality doesn't match that of a laser.
So last month we purchased a Prima Platino Laser cutter, and Signature Laser was born.
There has been a massive amount of work making this happen, but we should be operational by the end of the month.
Keep an eye out for updates, we are excited for the new challenges and look forward to the continued support of existing customers and using our new capabilities to support new customers.
Our drafting services won't stop, and the metal processing will compliment the drafting with quick supply of parts.

Well there has been some “exciting” news this week with the delivery of our new 3D printer. We now have an SLA (stereolithography) style printer which uses an LCD screen to cure resin layer by layer to achieve the final product. While this has been, and continues to be a challenging new process compared to the FDM printers previously used here at signature drafting, the results are worth the headaches. Although the prints in the pictures you see have not been through the final curing process (the UV curing station is yet to arrive), their quality is outstanding and shows amazing detail. There are exciting times ahead with this new addition, stay tuned for updates as we hone our skills and get the thing printing to its full potential.
Here’s a sneak peak of the new rum bottle we have been working on with Waterview Distilling Bundaberg. Designing in 3D allows for the most realistic digital concept. Then a prototype is 3D printed in house using one of our printers. Once the design is suitable, detailed 2D drawings are created and then it’s off to the manufacturer to get the first run of samples done. We hope to see these on the shelf in the near future.
