Dec 2025 - Who is the calprit?
Your guess is as good as ours!
We've lost some of our baby goats, lambs, eggs and chickens this season. It 'may' be from a large monitor / goanna, foxes, sea eagles or hawks, large python or dogs that live near our property. These are all preditors commonly seen on or around our Gow Farm. To prevent further loss we've been monitoring our animals closely but sadly these guys can strike at any time, even when our animals are safely penned up for the night.

21.11.2025 - Wow...look at the colours and patterns of this little fella.
The question is, do we have a Geep? Or a Shoat? here (as we have a billy goat running with the herd at the moment) or is this a sheep with unique colours?
Either way he's a beautiful strong lamb and his Mum is feeding and looking after him well.

14.11.2025 - We drenched our cattle today, primarily to control internal parasites and to prevent diseases, keeping the herd nice and healthy. During the process these two bulls were turned into steers and had orange spike rings added to their noses. The orange spike rings allow them to still run with the herd, but stops them from trying and feeding from their Mums who are now in calf with their next babies. We'll look to take these off them in a couple of weeks time.
