IMPORTANT!!! DO NOT take your kids to see SHOW DOG.
In summary, this animated children’s movie portrays a dog repeatedly having his private parts touched, against his will by strangers, as part of his “under cover” role as a super sleuth. How on earth it got funded, made, released and deemed appropriate for children is......I’m genuinely lost for words. Please share as widely as possible.

I love speaking to parents about how they can complement their school's focus on strengths-based approaches as parents at home. St Francis Xavier College (Beaconsfield) is putting this on for their parents, but the wider public is also welcome to attend. If you're near Beaconsfield, book here for a FREE Strengths-based Parenting seminar being held on Wednesday 14 March, 7pm -->

Gender stereotypes are defined between the ages of 5 and 7. Make sure kids in your life aren't limited by what they can't see around them! Show them they can be anything! Great nearly 2 minute video to share with kids!

Great to have a book that lets boys and girls know that GIRLS CAN BE ANYTHING! As a strong 💪 girl who liked pretty 💅 things, it was hard to see people like me in books - SO extra grateful that my talented friend, comedian Nelly Thomas Comedian, has created a book that I wished was around in my childhood. Buy a copy for the kids in your life this Xmas 🎅- order for $20 @ www.somekidsbooks.com Can't wait for SOME BOYS to come out next year!

People often say that their favourite part of the night is getting the chance to write a card to their child about what they realize their strengths are. Last night I had a great time doing exactly that with nearly 30 parents who came to a "Strengths Based Parenting" Seminar I ran at Newlands Primary School. Have you told your kids what their strengths are lately?
