What could be more fun than a wassail? One where Morris dancers destroy an apple piñata! Join us at the on May 4 for an afternoon of free fun for the whole family - you might even get to have a little morris dance yourself!

Every year on the first of May, the various morris folks of Brisbane gather at the lookout atop Mt Coot-tha to dance up the sun. It's a great tradition and a joyful way to start a day - we guarantee it's worth getting up early for.

See you back at on April 18 for their St George's Day banquet! Great food, great vibes, and some Morris to top it all off. What could be better?

Hark! Good folk of Brisbane, lend thine ears!
On the fair morn of April the 19th, from the stroke of 10, we shall make merry amidst the green splendour of the Botanic Gardens at Mt Coot-tha for Shakespeare in the Gardens!
With ribbons bright we shall dance the maypole round, and with bells and cheer bring forth the lively steps of Morris. Come wander, come watch, come join in if thy spirit be willing. No coin required, this revel is freely given.
Gather thy friends, thy kin, and thy curiosity, and meet us where music, mischief, and merriment entwine.
