I was at Pro Accessories Australia today and found out that Avon Tyres have a street legal race tyre that's made in 3 different compound like their slicks. These tyres are in stock and available to purchase now. These tires are direct competition with the Pirelli Supa Corsa and the Bridgestone R11.
I have written the retail price on the brochure in the 120 front and the 160 rear. They would perfect for a supermotard. After what I experienced with the slicks, it would definitely be worth try these. These tyres are used at the Isle of Mann and are designed to heat up quickly because of the carcase design, not the rubber compound, and they don't require tyre warmers. How good is that?
