Particles In Motion

ADRIFT cracked 1K plays on Spotify earlier this week, and has gained the most playlist adds and saves than any song in our catalogue.

Given it has been 3 weeks since release, and we are a small DIY band that doesn't play gigs or really promote ourselves, we're pretty stoked (not reflected on picture).

This band is a part time hobby for us, and if any of our songs resonates with even 1 person, we're delighted and honoured. So thank you.

ADRIFT: BTS II

The original idea for the video was to shoot half the scenes in a photography studio with the full band playing, and the other half outdoors in a forest. We'd have Myles do some acting and be chased by cloaked figure, who is later revealed to be a haunted/evil Myles (signifying running from your inner struggles).

Yep, no chance that would happen.

Imagine logistical nightmare of coordinating even just 4 grown men with full time careers, kids, and mortgages to run around a forest for 8 hrs with instruments... What if it rained on the day?

So, we got a few plastic sheets from a superstore, some tape, and spent an hour turning Arturo's bedroom into a little video set with his coloured video lights and key light.

We put cardboard under the drum cymbals to dampen them, detuned all the drums, and blasted the song through the studio monitors. It sounded SO AWFUL in person. The neighbours were warned. But hey, we had a good time.

Pretty sure Ben was hungover that day, can you tell? 😂

A mini Behind The Scenes series of the creation of our new single music video: Adrift, out June 20 (Pre-save link in bio).

We had the silly idea of shooting a DIY music video in 5hrs at Arturo's house, for a budget of about $50.
co and teamed up to film and direct the video. Chaos ensued.

Once the video is out, I wonder if anyone will notice that Arturo doesn't wear shoes in any of the scenes. Sorry if you have a foot fe**sh, get that fix in this series cause it won't be available in 24 frames per second on June 20th.

We crammed a photoshoot and impromptu videos in just 2hrs 🫠 it was a ton of fun and a little awkward doing it in public! Big ups to for smashing it with confidence.
