Congratulations from the Resourceful Pro team to Scott Dean who will be joining Urban Utilities next month as their General Manager City and Regional Solutions.

As South East Queensland prepares to host the world on the Olympic stage in 2032, it is imperative that the region has the infrastructure and innovation in place to provide an outstanding essential service, now and into the future.

Scott will be part of Chris Bulloch's Integrated Solutions team leading the planning, prioritisation, design and delivery of the organisation's 5-year capital program.

Congratulations from the Resourceful Pro team to Charles Rattray who will be joining the Copenhagen Offshore Partners team in August.

Charles will assume the role of CEO COP Australia and CEO of the 2.2GW Star of the South Project. We look forward to seeing Charlie & the team bring Offshore Wind to Australia!

The team at Resourceful Pro would like to congratulate Tom Korecki who has started his new role with Jacana Energy this week. Tom was recently appointed into the General Counsel & Company Secretary position.

Is the O&G sector booming again?

Salaries seem to indicate so - nearly 60% of employees got a raise this financial year.

58% of O&G sector employees think they will - is this down to a stronger oil price and industry; a reflection of increased cost of living; demand for skills/retention policy; a tightened labour market; or simply more confidence when asking for a raise?

With the cost of living rising dramatically in Australia in 2022, are you happy with the salary you earn?

Nearly half of the participants in Resourceful Pro's recent Oil & Gas Salary Survey indicated they were.

Are people happier in their jobs now than in previous years? or are people reticent to or wary of moving roles post-Covid? Resourceful Pro's recent survey of the Oil & Gas sector certainly seemed to indicate as such.

Research shows that Flexible Working is the number one benefit offered by employers as well as being the number one benefit wanted by employees.

Our recent O&G Salary Survey showed as much - 80% of you are currently making use of a Flexible Working Policy at the moment.

The Great Energy Transition - what does it mean for you?

For 30% of participants in Resourceful Pro's annual Oil & Gas salary survey, it means actively trying to move across to the Renewable Energy sector
