For this project the crew used a combination of:

• Temporary scaffolding to create a safe working platform
• Stair climbers to move equipment through the stair access
• Chain blocks for the controlled removal and installation of the replacement motors

Jobs like this might look straightforward in a short video, but they rely on careful planning, coordination and a crew that understands mechanical rigging fundamentals.

These are the projects that make up the bread and butter of our industry — and it’s the type of work our team takes pride in delivering safely and efficiently every day.

Precision Rigging & Logistics – Bundamba Water Treatment Plant

Over the past few weeks our team successfully completed a mechanical rigging project at the Bundamba Water Treatment Plant.

The scope involved the extraction of 9 × 13.5-tonne filters and installation of 18 × 6.5-tonne units, all carried out inside a live operational facility.

With no direct crane access, the works were carefully executed using controlled skating methods and removal through the side of the structure — requiring detailed planning, coordination and precise ex*****on from the entire crew.

Another complex mechanical rigging project delivered safely and efficiently.

As we close for the remaining of the year, we would like to showcase another successful project completed in 2023 with our valued client Dewpoint Air. Precision Rigging and Logistics were engaged to provide the complete Logistics Package inclusive of 2x 500t Crane lifts, Traffic control and Permits, Transport and Rigging and relocation labour to remove and replace the chiller plant at 120 Edward St that was at end of life.

The project went as planned safe, efficient, on time and on budget.
