Another returning client.
This client had just purchased a new home and wanted a few new changes.
we blocked up the living room side entrance and made a large opening into the dining area, which had featured reclaimed timber beams, cut and fitted on site by the team.
We opened up a smaller dining area entrance with a larger opening for entertaining.
The old wall in the living room had a rough texture finish, which the client didn't like, we gyprock set it back to smooth.

Just another returning client.
The client wanted to turn this cellar and divide it up from the tool storage area and hide the storage shelves.
We framed up and installed the WoodWork shop Arch Tassy Oak.
Framed up the rest of the walls ready for gyprock.
We custom-made the marine ply doors on site and installed.
Again, what a difference.
P.s. we ripped out and installed these entry doors to the cellar a couple of years back.

This client had just got a new stone bench top installed.
It was 20mm thinner than the original timber bench top, meaning the tiles were short (badly in need of a face lift)
We removed the old tiles, prepped the area, and installed new cement sheeting.
There was a large gap under the existing window. We tiled across this and continued the tiles around the window, making it all one, we believe the finish was the best for the situation and that it gives the kitchen a well needed face lift.

Back to my happy place, I love returning to this client. He has such a great imagination and is not afraid to achieve what he wants.
The difference this makes with the extra light it lets in is day & night.
Kitchen cabinets moved higher.
Ac unit has been moved to the side wall.
All splash back tiles were removed and newly installed.
Low-level and high-level Tassy Oak windows were made on site & installed by the team.

It's just another bathroom renovation by the team.
This little pink destination was badly in need of some TLC, and boy, did it receive it.
We removed the wall and made this 1 large enjoyable space.
Gone are the days of Queensland style separate toilet bathrooms (in my opinion)
There is more to bathrooms than trying to decide where your toilet and vanity go.
Most bathrooms you are dealing with millimetres and have to be Precise (see what I done there lol)
Need to know where hand towels, bath towels, toilet roll holders go, etc. All your noggings need to be measured to perfection for installation after 90% of the time, only having millimetres to avoid hitting pipes or wires.

Completed works at our Buderim job, new Linea cladding complete.
Our client, who is soon to retire and ready to move into their long-term rental investment, wanted to give it face lift, and boy did they do that.
Gone is the old dated cement sheeting.
This complete house got cladding apart the end section, which is covered by corrugated sheeting.
We do all our Linea cladding with 42mm battens. This way, the cladding detail finishes flush, which no gaps and still leaves a 10mm detail.
We will post the painted finish soon and also the landscaping which followed, this house looks nothing like it did 12mo the ago.

Completed works in our strathpine job, new bathroom, and laundry
It's amazing what you can create in a little space.
Going to the bathroom or doing the laundry never seemed so good.
Said it before, and I'll say it again the difference an LED makes to the look of a new bathroom is 👌
There is more to a bathroom than just ripping and replacing. These walls were far from plumb. Having plumb & and square walls is as important to anything else you do in your bathroom. Are your tiling will look horrendous no matter how good they are.

There's more to renovating bathrooms than just demolishing and chucking some sheets back up.
This wall was 23mm out of plumb.
You don't square the room and plumb the walls. Your tiling will be a waste of time and $
It's good to talk sometimes and have conversations that can explain the process and, most importantly, the cost, then things might just click into place 👌

Some completed works at our margate job.
The client had an extension built on a few years back and took some bad advice when it came to cladding and somehow got talked into timber cladding (which he regrets).
He wanted to break up the look of the house but have a cladding look at the front of the property. (side of the house finish to come)
We used the james hardie linea boards, which are very popular, and we always try and talk to our clients into using these compared to primeline due to the thickness - Primeline 9mm - Linea 16mm
The linea board will take a lot more abuse, is stronger, and, in my opinion, makes the house look better with that thickness detail.
Architraves are 42 x 42 with exterior corner trims 66x 42 - This hides the finished detail of the cladding and leaves an 8mm detail down the timber.
The difference this cladding makes to the look of your house is black and white.
It can be costly, but the finished product leaves you feeling you have a new home.
James Hardie soffit eaves fitted.
