🌟SEEKING MAKEUP ARTIST🌟
First of all, thanks to everyone that applied for the two acting roles. I was overwhelmed by the amount of responses 🥰 The parts are now filled 👌
I'm currently hunting for a makeup artist for two actors for a half day music video narrative shoot on April 16th, approximately 12PM~4PM in Moorooka, Brisbane. The project is an entirely virtual production that will be performed in a green screen studio 🎬✅
In terms of makeup, we (the band and I) are looking for understated/natural looks for both actors for most of the production. The father will only be shown briefly throughout the clip but our teenage actress battles intense emotions (and her dark side) in the middle of the story and we'd love a more dramatic look for that 😈
The narrative is a classic coming of age story: Our protagonist goes through all the stages of grief and eventually comes to terms with the death of her father 😭 I can discuss the concept in more-depth via direct message.

Before I go posting on forums and StarNow, I wanted to see if anybody I've worked or networked with previously is keen to perform for half a day in an upcoming music video virtual production 🎥
I'm chasing two actors to play a middle-aged parent and their child (a young adult -- needs to be old enough to have experienced some genuine life struggles). In the clip we'll be focusing primarily on the divide between the parent and child: cue lots of shouting, tears, facing off as far apart as the green screen studio allows to illustrate the divide between the two cast members, and -- most importantly -- not looking particularly stunning while doing it (think minimal/understated/no makeup *potentially*). Tragically, there will be no happy ending or reconciliation between the characters 🥲
Shoot dates and particulars haven't been ironed out yet, but if you're keen to hang out in the quantum realm (not quite, but *maybe*...) and are available in late March/early April, please drop an expression of interest below with a mug shot you feel closest embodies the abovementioned theme. I can't believe it's been 6 years since Valhalore and I were almost drained to death by mosquitos 😱 Nobody got sick (Thankfully!), so I think it was worth it to create this GoT-inspired piece of art 👌
6 years since our first promo band photo! Remember this, Shots For Bands? Crazy to think how much time has passed since, and how much Valhalore has changed. The photos turned out great, but from memory, we all counted hundreds of mosquito bites on each of us by the end of the shoot! We often speak of how spotty we all were, haha!
..suppose it's time we update you all with some new press shots soon, hey?
