Oh yeah, picked up some awards at the recent BADC’s. One for our work with Isuzu Ute and one for Melbourne Zoo’s Dino’s. A-lot of hard work and fun was had on the Supercheap Performing Oils campaign 2024. This is year 6 for me, and it's nice to see familiar faces every year. It' also still a bit surreal to be photographing so many people I have followed for many years. I didn’t have time to sit back and watch 30 years of honing a digital craft to now seem worthless due to the fact that AI had just popped in to eat my dinner. Instead I’m here to show it some table manners. This recent job was a good testing ground to build an AI workflow into my virtual production. These 3 images were created via AI, 3D and some photography with traditional retouching. The big problem with most AI image creation is control. As the tech speeds up, the control get’s easier with plugins like Control Net added to Stable Diffusion allowing us to alter parts or all of an image on the fly. We didn’t get wet, drink any plastic bottled water, or burn any petrol to get to locations. It made sense to try and contain the project within a virtual production space to compare to how we do things to produce commercial art in the real world. I’d say this was a greener way to compliment this series of images for via Big thanks to for encouraging me to produce this series using AI, because it’s only a matter of time before this stuff is mainstream.

Sometimes I feel we’re punching way above our weight, but then I have to take a step back and realise that a nurtured client relationship of 12 years is proof in the pudding that our work is on par with the best. ISUZU International have trusted us to roll out Imagery for new model launches for their D-Max models in meticulous detail, in a variety of specs, colours and models to be used in the worlds marketing campaigns and content for print and digital. It’s no mean feat when we’re working to at least 18,000 pixels wide, using medium format photography and CGI to create realistic composites to cater for every possible scenario. We’re proud of our relationship with ISUZU and will continue to produce knock out content. Here’s just a snippet of imagery for the 2020 D-Max world launch.
