Sustainability is so bloody important to me I've always be worried about the environmental impact of sanitary pads and am so glad I've made the change.

I am so excited to try out my reusable pads.

I ordered these from last week and therefore supporting TWO small businesses!!!!

And we're back!!!

I'm so sorry we've been M.I.A. these last few months I've been very busy doing 3 months placement to finish off my nursing degree.

But we are back with our newest edition of doggy bandanas!!!

I thought it was about time to introduce myself and what better way to get to know me than with a little game!

I'm Kay-cee the brains behind Wraps From Rags. I am so grateful to be on this journey in life and thank each and every one of you for your support.

So let's play a little game of two truths and one lie!

1. I got quite sick when I was younger and spent quite a lot of time in Prince Charles hospital. The doctors recommended I swam to increase my lung capacity but I hated swimming so I learnt to play the bagpipes instead.

2. I've been lucky enough to visit every state/territory in Australia except for the N.T. I couldn't tell you my fave though!!!

3. I met my partner whilst travelling overseas and we've spent an amazing 8 years together since.

A few months ago I met this amazing woman online through a mindfullness program, she lived in WA. The program that Laura ran inspired me to take some time for myself and start sewing again. Fast forward to last week and Laura moved to Brisbane of all places!

Today I got to meet her in person and it was such a beautiful and emotional day. Laura and her partner Ken are two of the most beautiful and amazing people anyone who meet. I am so blessed to have them in my life. ❤

This is our last weekend at the markets before Mother's day.

As I am a Student Nurse I am required to do placements so I'm off to Townsville on Thursday and will not be attending markets for a month so don't miss out!

I am so excited to finally work with these gorgeous fabrics sent to me.

I am still so overjoyed that there are wonderful people in this world trying to live as sustainably and ethically as me. Talana reached out to me and offered to send these stunning unwanted fabrics to me to make wraps. Saving them from landfill!

Are you a glow getter? I try to be!

I think sometimes we get so wrapped up in everything we're doing we lose site of our goals.

For me I often need to take a step back, breath and reflect on my why's and make sure I'm still staying true to myself and moving in the direction I want to be.
