Another project ✅ This communication board can be found at the Main Street Reserve, Eastwood, Adelaide. I started the project last year and am so proud it’s been completed. This is such a beautiful, fenced park with a playground and lots of running space. It has BBQ’s and access to a toilet. It is under the shade of lots of gum trees which suits children that refuse to wear a hat! We chose words specifically related to the park. Thanks to for listening to me, and facilitating a park dream of mine! Two Way Street

Some people lose perspective of what is really important. Love, friendships, loyalty and advocacy is something I’m fiercely proud of. I have the most amazing friends. They are a village to my little family. You all know who you are. Thank you # # #

Thanks for all your kind words and support after the episode of tonight. Thanks for for her empathy and professionalism telling the stories of our beautiful children. It’s a story I wish didn’t need telling. To donate to The Childhood Dementia Initiative visit www.childhooddementia.org

Did you see us in the Sunday Mail today? We featured in a story raising awareness of and the Childhood Dementia Initiative. It’s time for change. It’s time to talk about Childhood Dementia and lobby for funding for research.

Rett Syndrome is part of the 70 diseases/syndromes of Childhood Dementia. 1 in 2800 children are affected by one of these debilitating and lethal diseases. Things need to change. Awareness is imperative, research is a game changer. Knowledge is power!!! Greta and I have been lucky enough to be involved in some media pieces this week. I’ll let you know where you can see us! Mr 11 loves camping 🏕 Greta loves being outdoors and amongst it. Unfortunately, unless I’m holding Greta’s hand or she’s tethered to me (which I rarely do unless there’s a cliff) she will run away and doesn’t understand stop or come back. She is also drawn to water like a Labrador! So, are there any caravan parks, camping grounds or outdoor spaces out there with cabin or area that suit these children with special needs? A small fenced area means that families could enjoy camping together without leaving their special kids at home. A small fence area so that kids with autism, ADHD and other disorders can spend time outdoors with other children safely and don’t bolt! A space their parents could live the “normal” life they are gagging for, for just a few nights. Let me know if you know of any. I’d love to visit them! ⛺️ 🍻 🌲 🍷 🔥

Sometimes I just need to breathe. I don’t get much to myself. In between kids, shift work, Fergus’ sports, Greta’s therapies and medical and appointments there’s not much time left for me. So, when I can, I pound the beach with my favourite peeps and just breathe. @ Brighton, South Australia, Australia
