All quiet on the western front!

Over the last few months Dani has been slowly sounding like a cross between a pug and Miley Cyrus. After some scopes, surgery, and pathology we're all clear and recovering.

The whole thing is a bit frightening though, and with Dani on total vocal rest (ha) it is bringing some challenges - in sickness and in health, right?!

At I try to remember the gift of life we have been given, the ones whose live are intertwined with ours, and the we have for the future as a result of this gift.

We all have our struggles and we search for peace in one thing or another, and with the uncertainty in the world right now be thankful for what and who you have.

Boodja's first bout, 2x 1:30 rounds and took the win on Sunday.

She has been working tirelessly toward her blackbelt grading at training 6days/wk to get there.

Effort brings results, and doing the work puts you closer to where you want to be.

Unbelievable what has happened since then.... last week we saw our youngest receive her year 6 leadership badge and our eldest start in a job pathway. Always learning, growing, changing... but together.

A week of firsts and lasts... and both!

Our first girl in high school, last girl in yr6 and last first day for primary school.

Boodja is loving her new school so far, and Mousey-Mouse is honestly floating this week - we'll see how long this lasts, but great first week.

From mine to yours we hope you have had a wonderful Christmas and look forward to seeing what the New Year brings. However big or small you have added to my life and I am thankful for what that has taught me.
