Started the Moorland Blanket by I am using a bag of cotton mix of and lincraft makr 8ply cotton that I was gifted! It’s going to make an awesome blanket. I am using the what yarn touches my hand that I haven’t used yet method of choosing colours. How do you like to pick your colours?

Well I found a super cute scrappy leftover project for my precious hand dyed bits and bobs
Solid granny hexagons Jayg.
My issue is I have other things to do and I can’t just sit and make many cute hexis, but it is an awesome if you do this task you get to do 1 Hexi reward system!

So I made a mistake a few rows back, it’s not overly glaring for the uninitiated but I see it. This project has now sat on the sidelines while work on other things. It’s nearly halfway done, I could frog it back or… I could drop down the stitches and just fix it.
Or I can and will be just picking up and keeping on going. So often I feel what I make has to be stitch perfect. But you know what, this is supposed to be, it’s supposed to be relaxing.
So mindset shift… it is. This is not a commission, this is not even a gift someone has ‘Hinted 😉’ at. This is just a super cute pattern I wanted to try. I am not good at cable and I want to get better. So I am allowing myself the opportunity to make mistakes and learn to do better. This beautiful pattern is the ocean bone headband by the yarn is Cleckheaton Midlands in Golden Tip this yarn is divinely soft and my current favourite commercial wool.

Ok I’m absolutely in love with this Linen Viscot from . And pairing it with the Pride Yolk sweater pattern from , well let’s just I’m very happy and cannot wait to finish it and wear it for proper!!!
