Boots [Lady Courrege] makes her return at Ballarat on Thursday after a 12 week break.

Has shown promise running 3rd & 4th at her only two starts and then won her only jump put last week [carrying a 70kg track rider] in the 3rd fastest trial of the day.

Fingers crossed, looking to push her out towards 1400m this prep.

We received approval from Racing Australia on the naming of 2yo Cosmic Force filly - HONEYSUCKLE HILL [named after the street in Bendigo where Grandma lived].

Exciting times ahead, with all 3 horses in work…..
They will all run in different colours in case they clash in future races.

Both Janko and Daisy are yet to race, whilst Boots was impressive in her two starts.

Boots [Lady Courrege] has her second race start at Wangaratta today.

Race 1 no 11
@ 1:15pm - odds are $21 to win.

Drawn the outside against 13 other runners - it makes it hard for our little girl, however on sectional times…. She is capable of running top 4 [paying $3.0] and top 5 [paying $2.3].

She does not have push button speed, however she is a small and nuggety fighter.

If Boots can cross and settle forward without any pressure - it’s fingers crossed for a nice result.

We gave this girl 2 jumpouts and unfortunately she just doesn’t want to be a racehorse.
Today she was rehomed to a lovely girl in Bendigo and she will potentially be a show horse.
