Sport is more than just a game - it's a classroom for life.

Through sport, students develop strength, fitness and coordination, while also building confidence, resilience, discipline and teamwork. They learn how to handle success with humility, overcome setbacks, and keep striving towards their goals.

The physical benefits are obvious, but the mental and emotional rewards can be even greater. Sport teaches young people to believe in themselves, work with others and develop the mindset needed to succeed both on and off the field.

Healthy body. Strong mind. Bright future.

Shoutout to 2023 Banora Point High School alumni Elli Steel, who is literally and figuratively kicking goals all the way in the USA!

Elli is a full-time student-athlete who graduated from junior college in Colorado with the highest distinction, earning her an Associate of the Arts degree. Now, she’s heading to Missouri to study psychology while competing in Division 2 college soccer.

Elli credits her time as a school captain at Banora Point High School for developing the leadership skills that help her lead as a team captain today. We’re so proud to see her thriving both on and off the field!
