Chairco began in July 1986 in Brisbane as City Upholstery manufacturing office chairs and seating, repairing office chairs and reupholstering all modern and traditional seating. Upon meeting Peter Gregory the founder of Gregory Chairs and trying his then newly patented seat design, a decision was made to cease manufacturing office chairs and market office chairs that had identifiable benefits for
