Today marks a 3-month focus on our famed Corporate Health Care program focusing on Ergonomics and Human Biomechanics which was the hallmark of our practice in 1993.

From the research that conducted, PIH gained fame for its functional work which produced amazing clients over the next 10 years including BHP, NAB, ATO, Centrelink, Telstra, Deloittes, and many other organisations who now no longer exists.

The spin offs from these included stints for BHP, Brambles and Cargill Salt in Port Hedland, national Bedding Ergonomics program with Bedshed which last another 10 years and the launch of the Vehicle Ergonomics program with Mercedes Benz in 1996.

From a small spark, a lot of focal hard work, reputation and legacy is created and every one of you today reading this, is the beneficial of that legacy.

Fun Fact: We created Office Ergonomics with the active Human Biomechanics in the early 1990s and moving on 30+ years later, evolving to make it relevant to the ever increasing informatics interface required by humans.

Cookie cutter Office Ergonomics is plain impractical and non functional and we do it differently which is why we continue to be trusted over decades with repeat clients.

When we talk about senior wellness, most of the industry jumps straight to step counters and medication reminders.

The research is clear. Loneliness and social disconnection are as damaging to long-term health as smoking 15 ci******es a day. Yet, most aged care wellness programs are built around physical metrics, not human connection.

At Wise Friends, we think the industry has had it backwards for too long.

Wellness isn't a feature you bolt onto a care plan. It's what happens when seniors feel genuinely seen, supported, and part of something.

That's what we're building.

The clinic took pause today to celebrate and recognise the Ladybird Foundation with a Dress Up In Pink day.

Funds raised go to a worthy cause helping women suffering from breast and gynaecological cancers.

FUNDRAISING & COMMUNITY SUPPORT

Dress Up in Pink – To support the Ladybird Foundation in May 2026, staff will come together in a sea of pink to support the Ladybird Foundation, raising funds and awareness while sharing morning tea.

We have very talented staff here at Perth Integrated Health and we are honouring Dr Pamela Hendry our PIH Medical Doctor.

Dr Pam is the Director of The Ladybird Foundation. The foundation supports breast and gynaecologic cancer research in Western Australia. Their aim is to improve the lives of those diagnosed with breast and gynaecologic cancers through the funding of research.
