Big congratulations to the NevadaNano team ๐
Taking out the Best Industrial and IIoT Solution at Sensors Converge 2026 is a great endorsement of the innovation behind MethaneTrackโข
As the Australian distributor for NevadaNano, it is exciting to see technology that combines highly accurate sensing, automated analytics, and rapid leak-source identification recognised on the global stage.
With continuous methane monitoring becoming increasingly important across the industry, this is a well-deserved recognition for a team doing great things in this space ๐

Can you really have all three? Affordable, reliable and sustainable energy?
That was the question up for debate at Energy Club WA's Trilemma Sundowner, where Louise and Steve joined industry leaders to hear different perspectives on where Australia's focus should be over the next five years.
A big thank you to Muhammad Arsalan, PhD from the Economic Regulation Authority, Darragh Ruddy from Deloitte and Dario Bongiovanni from Capricornio for a lively and thought-provoking discussion ๐
One thing that stood out was that there is no silver bullet. Every energy source, technology and policy decision comes with trade-offs. The challenge is finding the right balance.
From Encore Monitoring's perspective, energy security remains a critical part of the conversation. Whether it is gas production, processing, infrastructure or emerging energy projects, safe and reliable operations are essential to keeping energy flowing where and when it is needed.
As industries work towards a more secure and sustainable energy future, the need for accurate gas detection, real-time monitoring and connected safety technology only becomes more important. Protecting people, infrastructure and operations is not just part of the equation. It is fundamental to it.
A big thank you to Energy Club WA for hosting another great event. A timely reminder that the energy transition is anything but simple.

Three's a charm โบ๏ธ
The crew recently headed into the Goldfields to roll out new gas detection equipment and ensure it was set up, calibrated correctly and working seamlessly, replacing the client's existing fleet.
That is all part of the service.
When you're operating hundreds of kilometres from the nearest major centre, it is not enough to simply supply equipment and hope for the best.
The right solution needs to be configured correctly, integrated properly and performing exactly as intended. Delivering training to key personnel at the same time ensures complete satisfaction for our clients.
That is where our team shines.
Whether it is a new installation, ongoing servicing or troubleshooting in the field, they are always willing to go the extra mile to make sure our clients have confidence in the systems they rely on every day.

If you have been following on from a previous post, these little beauties are TopVu OreTags. A few of you guessed correctly ๐
While they might not look like much, they play an important role in helping mines better understand exactly where their ore is moving and how it is performing through the processing circuit.
OreTags are passive RFID tags placed into the ore stream and that travel with the material through the mining process. As they pass through designated checkpoints, they provide valuable data that helps build a clearer picture of ore movement and retention times.
Combined with TopVu's hardware and software platform, the system can provide insights into:
โข Ore origin and destination
โข Product type and grade control
โข Waste dilution
โข Ore flow pathways
โข Circuit retention times
Handheld and tablet scanners are used to log information at the point of insertion, while checkpoints throughout the circuit automatically detect tags and feed data into real-time reporting dashboards.
In simple terms, it's about turning something that was once difficult to see into something measurable, trackable and actionable.
Sometimes the smallest pieces of technology can have the biggest impact on operational decision-making โบ๏ธ

Cold streets, warm hearts. Yep, weโre doing it again ๐ฅ
This winter, Encore is collecting donations for Operation Warmth in support of Street Friends WA, a 100% volunteer-run organisation providing vital support to people experiencing homelessness across Perth.
They receive no government funding and rely entirely on community generosity to continue their work.
Right now, theyโre particularly in need of:
๐งฅ Warm coats and jackets
๐ฉฒ New socks and underwear
๐ฅ Blankets and sleeping bags
๐ชฅ Personal hygiene items
Every donation goes directly to someone doing it tough. Street Friends WA distribute items every Thursday night on Moore Street in Perth.
Want to help?
Drop your donations into the Encore workshop before Friday 19 June and weโll make sure they get where theyโre needed most.
A small gesture can make a big difference on a cold winterโs night.

Some sponsorships just make sense. We are proud to be new sponsors of the UWA Football Club Unicorns All Abilities side ๐๐
In just their second year of competition, they have already built something pretty special. Not just a team, but a genuine community and support network around the players and their families. That is something we value highly at Encore.
A huge thank you to Fridgy for helping bring the partnership to life with personalised drink bottles for every player. Featuring their names and numbers, they have quickly become the envy of the club ๐ฆ
We cannot wait to see what this group achieves both on and off the field this season.
