2015.
I was addicted to buying swimwear.�Before a holiday, my dad said: “You have so many bikinis… you might as well create your own.”
So I did.

At first, it was small.�Colourful sets. Think aztec, florals, bold prints.
I added my own swing tags. Folded each piece myself.�Packed them into zip lock bags with a Mamph sticker on the front.
Very different times. Very simple beginnings.

Friends started asking for a pair. Then friends of friends. Demand grew. I built a website. Got a proper email address. Upgraded to canvas drawstring bags. Orders started coming in internationally, at one point, more than Australia.
It felt surreal.

So I did what most small founders do. I reinvested everything.
Bigger production runs. More stock. Bigger plans.
Instagram models (before we even called them influencers) were messaging me asking to wear the pieces.
It was exciting. It felt like momentum.

Then things shifted.
A copyright issue forced me to change manufacturers.�I had to start again.
New team. Smaller runs. Slower production.
I told myself it would be fine.

But deadlines weren’t met.�Sizing came back wrong. Pieces were incorrect. Money felt stretched. Energy felt tested.
I kept going, but something felt off.

Then COVID hit.
Shipping paused. Manufacturers closed. Customers waited.�Momentum stopped.

I tried again in 2023.
Invested carefully. Smaller quantities. More intention.
But production delays meant we missed summer.
And honestly, I was exhausted.

Since then, I’ve created pieces where I could.�Slowly. When capacity allowed.
Because the truth is, I never stopped believing in it.

I believe in the pieces.�I believe in how they make women feel.�I believe in doing it properly.
So instead of letting boxes sit in storage…
I’m choosing to rebuild it the right way.

And truly, the support along the way is a huge part of why I’m still here.
Every order. Every message.�Every woman who chose to wear a piece.
It mattered more than you know.
