Today at Amata Tafe four of the RASAC Community Patrol team were presented with their certificates.

Dale Lyons was presented with his Certificate II in Community Services

Evelyn Marshall and Anita Dick we're awarded Certificate III in Community Safety Services.

Troy Hughes was awarded both the Certificate II and Certificate III qualifications.

The certificates were presented by RASAC Community Patrols Program Assistant Manager, Simmy Mataira-Ngatai who delivered the training for the patrol workers.

Congratulations to our wonderful Patrols workers for their commitment to training that supports the great work they do for Amata community.

On Wednesday this week, RASAC workers from our Community Patrols, Municipal Services and Remote Australia Employment Service (RAES) programs were presented with certificates from TAFE SA.

Ben Warren and Joshua Smith from the Fregon RAES team completed the Certificate II in Construction Pathways.

Duncan Armstrong from Municipal Services at Pukatja also completed the Certificate II in Construction Pathways.

Greta Moketarinja who is a Team Leader in the Pukatja Community Patrols team, was awarded her Certificate III in Community Safety Services.

Congratulations to these workers for their achievements and thanks for your continued work looking after our communities.

The National NAIDOC Committee has announced the winner of the 2026 NAIDOC Week Poster Competition.

Congratulations to APY musician and artist Zaachariaha Fielding for their winning piece Paralpi.

This year’s NAIDOC theme is 50 Years of Deadly and Paralpi embodies the celebration of five decades of Blak excellence, cultural strength, creativity and leadership.

Graham Umula and Eugene Davis were presented with their certificates at a graduation ceremony at TAFE SA campus at Mimili on Tuesday.

Graham is a Team Leader and completed two qualifications, Certificate II in Community Services and Certificate III in Community Safety Services. Eugene is a Patroller and completed Certificate II in Community Services.

Congratulations to Graham and Eugene on completing their certificates and for the work they do to support their communities, and thanks to TAFE SA for their support assisting Graham and Eugene to graduate.

In April, ladies from Amata spent 4 days in Yulara on a work exposure trip. This was an opportunity to learn about all the departments and opportunities at Voyages.

Thank you for giving our RAES participants such a great experience.

This is a wonderful example of how collaborating with other service providers like PYEC and Voyages can provide opportunities and experiences for Anangu on the Lands.

The Anangu women in the RAES Team at Amata have been personalising their workspace to reflect the values and goals of the work they are doing in their community.

Vibes are high in Amata as the ladies prepare for travel to Yulara for a work exposure trip at the resort. 6 ladies are already employed through RAES Community Upgrade program and another lady is commencing employment next week!

Sandy (Atu) Campbell from Mimili is stepping up to become a Team Leader in our MUNS program at Mimili. Since joining the MUNS team, Sandy has shown that he is a good and consistent worker and is ready to provide some extra support to the team.
