BRUNCH AT ONDA CAFE
The wonderful thing about living within walking distance of everything, is that you get to go out for brunch while doing some exercise at the same time. One of our favourites is Onda Food House in Aireys Inlet, Victoria – where they offer great options for vegans. We particularly enjoy the lawn area in summer for eating outside :)

Mmmmmm PIZZA!…
As Homer Simpson would say! The Captain of Aireys - Woodfired Pizza makes the best pizzas on the Surf Coast and it’s worth the trip down for lunch, dinner or the weekend to Aireys Inlet, Victoria. They cater for gluten free based and special requests on the toppings – highly recommended!

MINI GOLF ANYONE?
At the end of our road is our very own Great Ocean Road Mini Golf Course. It’s been extended since last year with a few twists and tricks to keep even the most seasoned golfer entertained… it's all right here in the beautiful coastal town of Aireys Inlet, Victoria and a short walk from our place too!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE GREAT OCEAN ROAD!
19 September marks the 100 year anniversary of the construction of the Great Ocean Road, Victoria, Australia. And along the Surf Coast we are celebrating this event with pop-up cinemas documenting it’s creation from Torquay, Victoria to Apollo Bay, Victoria. Be part of the celebrations in September and stay with Valley View Escape - we're only 90 minutes from Melbourne and right in the middle of the Great Ocean Road!

I AM 100 - Visit Great Ocean Road We celebrate the people who built the Great Ocean Road with a mix of augmented reality, film and written content, telling the stories of the road through beacons attached to park benches dotted along the route from Torquay to Apollo Bay.

GRAND FINAL LONG WEEKEND
As the AFL and NRL seasons draw to a close (Go Richmond)… have you considered having a short break down the coast away for the long weekend? Aireys Inlet, Victoria is only 90 mins from Melbourne and at Valley View Escape, we still have availability but you’ll need to be quick to book in. Our local AIREYS PUB is the perfect spot to watch the game!

Our local greek restaurant A La Grecque in Aireys Inlet, Victoria has opened back up this week after their annual winter break. If you love seafood and greek food, you’re in the right place! Check out their menu and special $48 per person group (+10) option – it’s sure to tempt every appetite!
