At 63 Unley, what could have been a design constraint became one of the home’s most defining features.

Rather than positioning the alfresco at the rear, we transformed it into an internal courtyard — seamlessly connected to the hallway and dining area to create a private outdoor retreat at the centre of the home.

Large stacker doors slide away to blur the line between inside and out, drawing natural light deep into the space while creating an effortless flow for everyday living and entertaining.

One of our favourite details is the view through the alfresco skylight, where you catch a glimpse of the modern extension rising above the original home — a subtle contrast between old and new that makes this renovation so special.
