The risks of not having a building inspection. The rear wall was cut out of this house with no laminated beams installed. The rear beam was being held up with a shelf bracket and the other end was a foot short of the post with nothing holding it up. This was noticed because the opening was 8.5 meters and you can only have a laminated beam up to six meters without using steel. It was very lucky the roof didn’t collapse but had sagged.
