National Alert Test - Monday 27 July (1:30pm Adelaide Time)
AusAlert is a new national emergency warning system that sends urgent messages to compatible mobile phones and other mobile devices in a specified area.
AusAlert will allow emergency services organisations and some Australian Government agencies to send targeted warning messages. The system will be more reliable, accurate and efficient than current systems. This means authorities can reach people quickly when it matters most, keeping Australians informed and helping to save lives and property.
AusAlert may be used for a range of situations, including:
🌀 Natural hazards, such as bushfires, floods, cyclones and tsunamis
⚠️ Public safety and security threats, such as serious public safety incidents or terrorism
🐄 Biosecurity incidents, such as animal or plant disease and biohazard outbreaks
😷 Health emergencies, such as pandemics or other national public health events.
There will be a national test on Monday 27 July 2026. During this test, all compatible mobile devices (including smartphones, watches and tablets) across Australia will receive a test alert.
Devices will vibrate and play a siren-like warning sound for about 10 seconds.
An AusAlert message will appear on device screens. It will clearly say it is a test (swipe to see image 2).
Exactly how it appears will depend on your device type and operating system.

Today marks 1 official year of Littleversity! 🎉
On this day last year, Littleversity was registered as a business!
It’s been a huge adventure, with a rollercoaster of feelings and some big learnings along the way.
A big thank you to all the wonderful people that supported me to make this a reality and throughout the past year - I could not have done it without you all! And a special thank you to all the families and children who have trusted me to join their therapeutic journey.
I can’t wait to see what year 2 has in store!

This is a free event and parents with children of all ages are welcome. Whilst you are there, check out the amazing resources at the TTG Toy Library.

Littleversity is excited to be supporting and collaborating with the Tea Tree Gully Toy Library!
The TTG Toy Library is located within the TTG Library, opposite Tea Tree Plaza.
The TTG Toy Library has a variety of games, toys and tools for kids big and small, a sensory corner, as well as offering a variety of workshops and other resources.
Memberships for families start at $35 for 12 months where each child is able to borrow 3 toys and 1 literacy kit for up to 1 month at a time.
