It was a great day of racing for Team McNamara Racing out at Cross Keys BMX for Round 7 of the AusCycling SA BMX State Series!

Cali, after being merged with the 15 and 16 year old girls (she is actually in 14 year old girls), ended up finishing 1st overall 🥇

Kade won all 4 Moto's and finished in 1st in the final for the 12 year old boys 🥇

What a whirlwind of a trip to one of our favourite tracks for the Blue Lake BMX Club Double Header.

Day 1️⃣ was the Blue Lake Country Champs.

🚴‍♂️ Kade finished 1st in all his races and the 11-12 boys final.

🚴‍♀️ Cali finished 4th in the 13-16 girls.

Day 2️⃣ was Round 2 of the State Series.

🚴‍♀️ Cali finished 1st in all her races and 1st overall.

🚴‍♂️ Kade finishing 1st in all of his races and 1st in the final.

We can't believe that's it for another year of the SA Titles and SA State Series.

Yesterday for the SA State Titles, Cali rode her heart out all day finishing as 4SA overall in 13 girls and getting a PB in the 4th moto and in the SA State Series she finished the year in 2nd taking home the 2SS plate.

Yesterday for the SA State Titles Kade had a cracking day undefeated in all motos and the semi, then finishing as 1SA in the final and in the SA State Series he finished the year in 1st taking home 1SS.

Next on the agenda for Kade is the in New Zealand. Ride hard Kade and have fun!!

Quick trip over to Mildura for round 6 of the Victoria State Series.

Kade was on fire with 1️⃣, 1️⃣,1️⃣ in the motos, 1️⃣ in the semi and 1️⃣ in the final.

Time to make the journey home from Brisbane.

We are happy with Kades result Friday coming away with 2nd🥈in the 2022, but he too was too worn out Saturday to race after the long day and late night before so we sat it out👌

We are finally home after a massive 3 days of racing down in Mt Gambier.

Great results from both Cali and Kade and we are super proud of how they handle themselves both on and off the track.

Saturday was SA v VIC and Cali made the A final in the 13-16 girls and finished 7th overall. Kade rode 1 moto in the 11-12 boys, came 1st and then decided to sit the rest of the race out to rest up for the State Series the next morning.

Sunday was Round 2 of the State Series. Cali finished 1st in all of her 4 motos and came away with 1st overall in the 13 girls. Kade came 1st in all of his 4 motos, 1st in the semi and also 1st in the final in the 11 boys.

Today was a last minute decision to ride the Country Champs. Kade came 1st in all 3 motos and then 1st in the final of the 11-12 boys. Cali made the A final and finished in 7th in the 13-16 girls.

What a wet and wild weekend of racing for Rounds 1 & 2 of the at the brand new .

Our beautiful Cali rode solo for with Kade and Dad cheering her on from the dry and comfortable lounge room at home.

Racing was cut short yesterday due to the weather and after only 2 motos Cali finished 11th.

We managed to get through all of the racing today and Cali finished one spot better in 10th.

Weather aside, we had a great first weekend back for the 2022 season with our and most importantly Cali loved every minute of it.
