Elders announces world-first wool handling business - Elders Rural Services Elders is establishing a world-first, automated wool handling business, to be launched in July 2023.

Good news from our sister company, Data Effects, working on KI to help with the post-fire recovery efforts. With a small, localised and endangered platypus population the platypus ponds on KI provide a great opportunity to study these elusive little critters.

With our sister company Data Effects we have been working with SARDI on automated environmental samplers for pest and disease control for the last year or two. Here is a little write up on the latest Sentinel we built:

New technology for trapping hort pests Some hi-tech gear to help growers has landed in South Australia.

A couple of nice photos of the latest John Shearer "air drill". Lumient developed that little box on the steps that controls this high-tech monster to ensure even seeding at all speeds. This was a quick site visit to test the system when fully installed.

A few pictures from our field trip with the Data Effects guys to test out their latest prototype devices in remote areas using the newly-launched NB-IoT phone network.

Lumient is happy to have been recognised with a "Good Design Award" for their work on the mobile application for the RedVision product. (It was a while ago now, but the certificate was slow to arrive!)

We are happy to announce that our friends at Redarc have a new Lumient-developed application available for iPhone and Android. If you have a RedVision Total Vehicle Management System (TVMS) then you can now grab this app and configure your TVMS to your heart's content!
