GMR Auto Repairs is looking for a skilled and passionate QUALIFIED mechanic to join our team in Salisbury Plains! If you love working on cars, take pride in your workmanship, and want to be part of a friendly and professional workshop, we want to hear from you!

What we’re looking for:
🔹 Qualified mechanic with experience in servicing, diagnostics & repairs on a variety of vehicles
🔹 Experience with customer relations, invoicing, and job quoting
🔹 Strong work ethic and attention to detail
🔹 Ability to work independently and as part of a team
🔹 Valid driver’s license

Farewell & Thank You, Sean 👨‍🔧
This week we say farewell to Sean, who’s been an important part of Glenrothes for most of his life.
Sean’s story with the workshop goes all the way back to 1994, when he first started helping his dad Billy, who founded the business back in 1969. What started as helping out during school holidays and occasionally after school soon turned into a full-time passion.

Sean began his apprenticeship under his dad in 1994, continuing the family legacy of honest, quality mechanical work that GMR has always stood for.
In 2002, Sean proudly took over the business from Billy, running it with the same dedication and care for more than two decades. When I had the opportunity to purchase the workshop from Sean in 2023, he stayed on to help with the transition and continue serving our customers with the same professionalism he’s always shown.

On behalf of the whole team and our loyal customers. Thank you, Sean, for everything you’ve done over the years. Your knowledge, commitment, and easy-going nature have made a lasting impact on GMR Auto Repairs and also myself as not only a mentor, but also a friend.
