Here’s our contribution to the current ‘How it started’ and ‘How it’s going’ trend...
Remember Business A?
Upon signing up with us waaay back in June they weren’t getting visitors to their website and were intermittently posting to social media when they had the time.
In three months we’ve written two quality blog posts with two more in the pipeline, generated more traffic than their server can handle leading them to upgrade their hosting services, grown their page from 295 followers to 390 and weekly post reach average from 50 to over 700, and can directly attribute 4 leads from their website, 1 from social media and 15 from our PPC campaign, phew! 😄
Our favourite part of this journey has been the professional relationship that we have grown, and will continue to grow as Business A have since signed on for a further three months of our digital marketing services.

Facebook has relaxed its rule stating "in order to run an image-based ad on Facebook, images must contain less than 20% text."
The rule was implemented by the social media giant as its research found minimal text in ads created a better experience for both users and advertisers. Then, in 2018, the rule was relaxed enabling marketers to include more text, but with a caveat that ad reach would be restricted as a result.
This new change to the rule is making waves in the marketing and advertising world because restrictions to ad reach have now been lifted, meaning, ads with more than 20% text in the main image will be displayed as normal, and reach the same number of people as any other Facebook advertising. Cool huh?!
But remember - Just because you can, it doesn't mean you should. Good design is to "Eliminate the unnecessary so that the necessary may speak" (Hans Hofmann)
