This week, we join the national conversation to recognise and raise awareness of palliative care, care that focuses on quality of life, dignity, and comfort for people living with a life-limiting illness, and support for their families.

Every day in Australia, more than 450 people could benefit from palliative care, yet too many still miss out or access it too late.

This Palliative Care Week, we acknowledge the dedicated clinicians, nurses, volunteers, and families who provide and experience this deeply human care, and we encourage open, honest conversations about what matters most.

Because the earlier we talk about it, the better care can be.
