Another season of rugby in the books, and what a season it’s been!

A huge congratulations to our Prems, Women, Premier Reserves, U18s and U16s, who are all heading into finals. The job isn’t done yet, bring on finals footy! 🔥

To the teams who narrowly missed out, and to our youngest rugby stars whose seasons aren’t measured by a ladder, be proud of how far you’ve come. The growth, determination, mateship and Souths spirit we’ve seen across every age group this year has been something pretty special.

And finally, a massive thank you to the people who make it possible for our players to take the field each week - our coaches, team managers, medics, ground marshals, touch judges and all the other hands behind the scenes.

So this week, we’re turning the camera around! 📸 A few of our favourite snaps of the people usually standing on the sidelines- coaching, managing, supporting… and in some cases, pulling on the boots themselves! Thank you for everything you’ve given to our teams this season. 💚❤️

Souths Legends played their last game of the 2026 season against Old Collegians, going down 69-17. 💚❤️

The Blue Bulls Under 18s are playing Old Collegians again next week, in the first round of the finals ... come and see a great game kicking off at 2.40pm at Onkas on Sunday 16 August ...

Even better, make an afternoon of it by watching the Blue Bulls Under 16s first - their final kicks off at 1pm on Sunday (also v Old Collegians) ... would love to see everyone there to cheer on our future generation of players. 💚❤️💙🩵

This Saturday we're heading to Old Collegians for our final game of the regular season, and we'd love to see plenty of green and red on the sidelines.

Bring the Souths spirit, get behind our teams and let's finish the regular season the Souths way!

Before everyone turns their focus to finals, we couldn't let our final training and full club dinner of the regular season pass without saying one enormous, heartfelt thank you to the incredible people who have kept our club fed all season long.

From our youngest bulls to our oldest, you've kept our players, families, volunteers and supporters fed, gathered around the table, and connected every Thursday night. The kitchen has truly been the heart of our club.

A very special thank you to Judi Madden , who has led the charge week after week with incredible dedication, supported by the amazing Kellee Madden and Claudia. To our serving legends Aimee Irvine , Indi, Kylie, and the many other volunteers who stepped in whenever they were needed - thank you for always doing it with a smile. And of course, Mr G, whose famous coleslaw is a Thursday night tradition!

On behalf of the entire club, thank you for every meal, every late finish, every early start, and every act of generosity. You've nourished far more than hungry stomachs - you've helped build the family atmosphere that makes Souths so special.

We appreciate you more than words can say. 💚❤️

Tonight marks the final training session of the regular season before we head into the final series!

What a season it's been! 💚❤️ Thank you to all of our players, coaches, managers, volunteers and families who have made Thursday nights so special.

To celebrate, we've got a beauty for dinner...

🍔 Steak Burger with the Lot
🥩 Marinated beef steak, caramelised onions, bacon, egg, lettuce, tomato & sauce, served with chips and gravy.

As always, we've also got our chicken and beef schnittys with chips and salad/slaw.

Whether you're celebrating a fantastic season, gearing up for finals, or just chasing a great feed, come down and enjoy one more Thursday night together.

While the results were a mixed bag, there was no shortage of great rugby, plenty of smiles and another fantastic day at AA Bailey.

As we wrap up our home season, we want to say a heartfelt thank you to every volunteer who has helped make game days so special. Whether you were setting up before the sun came up, cooking on the BBQ, serving in the canteen, helping behind the scenes or packing everything away at the end of the day - THANK YOU!

It takes a village to run a rugby club, and Souths is lucky to have the very best. Here's to another memorable home season and an exciting finish to the year! 💚❤️
