Here is my slab of beef after two days in brine
apologies for the absence. George and I have been under the pump but when I return from OS in late September we have a scrumptious roasted pigs head tos erve up - oh the crackling..... ;P

79 Degrees But seriously folks, why have we created 79Degrees? Well because most cooking shows are utter nonsense that can leave a bad taste in your mouth. This site is less about food and more about food as a culture, the centerpiece of society, the centre of the home.
Planning is well underway for our first episode - will be up early next week. In the meantime, would love to hear your thoughts on the two discussion threads.
