Fore Play

This week we will be celebrating the life and work of Sam Shepard with a reading of two of his one act plays; Icarus' Mother and Action. The reading will begin at 7pm at Supermild and the bar will be open all night!

Come on in and take a seat. Every second Wednesday from 7pm the Fore Play team will rustle up some play readings. Fore Play aims to focus on the work of local writers, emerging writers, Australian writers and new works. Every week check out this space for updates on what plays are coming up and which local actors will be lending their voices. The readings will be upheld at Supermild and drinks and food will be available at the bar.

We are constantly looking for plays to read and actors to read them! If you would like to submit your work for reading or lend your voice to read please contact either Celeste Martin, Antoine Jelk or Evie Leonard.

Although we aim to focus on local and new works this is subject to how many submission we receive and what people want to hear. We are open to plays at all stage of the creative process and plays that traverse different styles and genres.
