☀️🚗⚡️ The South Australian Solar Vehicle Association team has officially made it to the start line in Darwin!

This morning they’ll depart on their epic 3,000km journey to Adelaide, competing in the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge. 🌏✨

It’s an incredible showcase of innovation, teamwork and clean energy – and we’re proud to cheer them on as they take on this challenge powered only by the sun. 🌞💪

The team from SASVA are almost ready for their 3000km journey from Darwin to Adelaide. With final preparations planned over the next two days, the team will be departing Darwin on Sunday. We’ve been supporting the team over the last 2 years on their journey to this point and are excited for the team’s journey back to Adelaide.

Today we’re celebrating clean energy and innovation as we look ahead to the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge!

We were proud to attend the launch with the South Australian Solar Vehicle Association team – who we’re sponsoring – as they prepare for their 3,000km journey from Darwin to Adelaide in a solar-powered vehicle. ☀️🚗

We’ll be heading off with the team in early August to support them on this incredible challenge, driving awareness for a greener future.

We’re regularly looking for opportunities to up-skill and expand our capabilities, this week that’s included an intermediate rigging course

Having now completed this training, we can now assemble and suspend a range of overhead structures. Supporting sound, vision and lighting whilst also improving the safety of technicians in the setup of this equipment.

With Fringe about to begin, as well as a host of other events coming up, in the workshop this week we’ve been making a variety of new cables. With each cable manufactured to the highest standards and tested prior to entering service within our hire inventory.

New Years Eve at the Hawks home ground 💚💛

Forget Semaphore, Forget the City, come to the Salisbury North Football Club, we are the only place in the Northern suburbs to provide a FREE family night out for the community on NYE (teenage and adults rides incur a ride charge from SA Carnivals)

- No capacity restrictions however the area will be fenced to maintain safety
- Loads of rides that all the little ones will enjoy
- Live music inside with the ultimate party band Magnetic
- Petting Zoo, Who doesn't love a pony ride?
- Fireworks at 9:40 for the kiddies (with a countdown for the little ones)
- Fireworks at Midnight
- Rides available from 5pm-9:30pm
- All welcome

This is NOT a BYO event - Eskies will not be permitted on the grounds
Food and drinks available for purchase in the venue and on the oval.

There will be rides available for teenagers and adults available that will incur a cost from the Carnival ride suppliers.

Besides the charge for the big kids rides, this event is free for the community and everyone to enjoy!
