Our First 360 Podium!
Last night Max and the team were back at Ellenbrook Speedway for the final Winter Series round for 2026. After a tough outing last weekend at Narrogin the team was hoping to gather a good result before our next race meeting at Moora.

Results
Hotlaps - P8
Heat 1 - P6 - P3
Heat 2 - P2 - P4
Feature - P5 - P3 (Declared after 5 of 20 Laps)

After 2 great and competitive heat races which saw Max racing hard with some of the full time Maddington Toyota Sprintcar drivers. Max managed to earn himself a P5 starting spot for the feature race, Max had a great start and got his way up to 3rd before the race having to be declared only 5 laps in after a huge wreck from another competitor which tore down Ellenbrook’s catch fence.

Overall a very successful night for our team. We found the pace that the WX2 is capable of delivering.

Race day at The Brook!
Tonight Max and the team are back at Ellenbrook Speedway for the last Winter Series round for 2026.

After a tough run at Narrogin we are keen to bounce back and have a go and get some more laps tonight at Ellenbrook.

Resilience.
The only word to describe Saturday Night for the team was resilience. Unfortunately for Max and the team we only managed to get out for the feature race at Narrogin Speedway.

After starting the car before the meeting and then again for engine starts everything was running smoothly until the worst possible scenario happened. When Max went for fire up for hotlaps there was no spark meaning the car wouldn’t fire, along with missing hotlaps Max would also have to abort qualifying.

As we got back to the pits the team tried it all, Multiple teams chipped in helping change about everything that they could on the WX2 before getting the engine started at the half time break. The good news came with the bad however as Max would be climbing into the A Main without any laps under power at Narrogin.
Max managed to stay out of trouble and finish P10 on our hardest night in Max’s career to date.

Max would like to take this chance to thank Pete, Jason, Baxter for their resilience. As easy as it would’ve been to pack and up and go home these guys never gave up. Max would also like to thank The Mewett Motorsport Team and Jaydee Dack and his team for their help.

It’s only up from here as the team are back for the last round of the Winter Series at Ellenbrook this Saturday!

The Max Lang Racing 2026/27 Season calendar is here!!

Today is the day we can finally release our 2026/27 calendar for Max and the team.
Our season is jam packed with racing in our 360/LS Sprintcar in the West Coast Stabilisers Sprintcar Series - SAWA along with doing a handful of Formula 500 races with Formula 500s WA

Our season will officially get underway this coming weekend at Narrogin Speedway before making trips to Ellenbrook for the last round of the Winter Series, then we head to Moora, Pithara, Bunbury, Margaret River and the Perth Motorplex with the West Coast Stabilisers Sprintcar series!

Successful Broome Trip!
Last weekend Max and the team completed the Shinju Matsuri Stampede event held at Broome Speedway.
Max was in the #4 Modlite and demonstrating in the Sprintcar.

After starting rear in all the heats Max managed to earn himself a P3 starting spot in the final. He made his way up to P2 before a rookie mistake on the last lap saw him spinning out and finishing in P5. Overall a good weekend where we had plenty of fun, Massive thank you to the Halliday family for everything they did over the weekend and making the full circle moment happen it was very very cool!

Our sprintcar demonstration was also a big success, Max got in 4 runs and had plenty of fun ripping around his old stomping ground! Tomorrow Max is back in the for another round of the Winter Sprintcar Series at Ellenbrook!!

Night 1 ✅
Last Night Max and the team completed Night 1 of the Shinju Matsuri Stampede at Broome Speedway.
An up and down night overall in the Modlite which saw Max finish in P5 and P2 in his respective heat races. With 2 heats and the final tonight the team is ready to get back after it!

Max also had two exhibition runs in the 360-LS Sprintcar which was a great treat for the crowd, Get ready for some more tonight!
