Absolutely brilliant running, I'm so proud of the enormity of your achievement, and the day's you logged km after km, Strength sessions and recovery days. In between full time shift work, Dealing with the "butt" pain and practising better nutrition.

Absolutely so proud of this woman. She just completed 160km at the Melbourne Front Yard Ultra.

"We don't want to sit still and fall apart, we want to be fit and healthy and strong as long as possible
Life is worth living with independence, moving better, bending, carrying, hiking, running, playing with your grandkids and going on adventures.
Antonia and her Husband Michel love being adventurous, hiking, climbing, exploring and living life with all they can.
Well, keep doing this, because girl, you are STRONG, and life is all yours.
So proud. π₯°
Coaching with Kat Base2Summit is about YOU..

Watch out for the winner π
Now Easter break has passed and we're focussed again, I just thought I'd do a huge shout out to this legend Em, who quietly went about her business week in week out, navigating a crazy work schedule to sneak away with a 1st place on her "training run".
I Love what I do.. when it's loved so much by you.
Get out there and achieve your best.
It's not always how you planned or thought.
Somedays are just plain hard. You're tired, your body isn't responding the way it used to. You feel let down by it and don't always know how to manage it.
Step 1. Starr by moving gently when you can.
Step 2. Get out in nature, feel the sun on your skin
Step 3. Be focused on what you can do, not what you can't or used to.
Step 4. Hit those downhills with gusto and feel the wind beneath your wings.
Step 5. Feel proud of listening to your body.
Refuel, Hydrate and Rest.
Every day is worth it, make it count. Even if it's a rest day.
I cannot believe tbis happened.
Now the pain is gone it Feels sureal.
Already over 6 weeks ago, battling gale force wind and never ending mud, climbs and the unrelenting banter in my head on how amazing the scenery is but also how quite frankly, I'd had enough. I felt unsettled, out of my depth and my knee had also decided it could no longer survive the constant sliding and slipping.
What I have come to realise is I still achieved something massive.
Something beyond what I have done before in terrain and weather nothing like home.
We always underestimate ourselves, put huge pressure on performance that we can miss the importance of what we achieve.
The time we put into training, getting up early, missing out on things.
Celebrate it all... You're doing amazing.

What does community mean to you?
To me, community means finding people who share my values and passions. Giving back through volunteering, supporting my mates, and helping clients achieve their goals is truly fulfilling.
Itβs the sense of belonging and purpose that comes with being part of something bigger.
Seeing clients push past their limits, overcome obstacles, and celebrate their successes is the best part.
And that finish line moment β itβs the ultimate reward for all the hard work and dedication.
Base2Summit Coaching has been around for over 16 years because creating a supportive community around your training helps you stay focused and committed.
