Considering scale within a space is essential, as it determines how expansive or intimate the environment feels. Through the manipulation of scale, designers can create bold statements or evoke a sense of theatricality that transforms the user’s spatial experience.

One of the most rewarding aspects of this job is the opportunity to step into different environments every day. It allows us to observe how spaces interact—how they connect, flow, and function (or sometimes don’t), and how their design influences the way they feel. This particular master suite is a perfect example: a beautifully designed space with an open-plan ensuite that evokes a sense of hotel or resort-style luxury. It’s thoughtfully executed to create both visual harmony and a relaxed, indulgent atmosphere.
