After 20 years as investors we set up Jump Property so that we could help other investors with managing or selling their homes or investment properties.

After spending 20 years as investors with several properties each we grew sick and tired of property managers simply not doing their job (and giving the same old excuses all the time). So we set up Jump as a way to bring this industry in line with the kind of service that's expected in the 21st century. Tenants Breaking Lease

Lease break rules in South Australia have changed, and the outcome now depends on timing and how the situation is managed.

If a tenant breaks their lease:
• Outside 60 days – rent may still be payable, but you must actively minimise loss
• Inside 60 days – rent is limited and costs are reduced
• All costs must be reasonable and proportionate

It’s also important to understand that if you plan to take the property back, you generally can’t charge full re-letting costs.
