Thank YOU | May 9-15 is National Volunteer Week and Football Federation SA would like to thank all volunteers for their contribution to football!
Volunteers are often referred to as the lifeline of sporting organisations and clubs as their contribution is imperative to the delivery of services and the sustainability of sport in Australia.
FFSA appreciates and acknowledges the hard work and dedication of each and every volunteer for contributing their time and effort to delivering the sport of football in South Australia.
So to the photographers, the match reporters, the canteen staff, the gate attendants, the ground stewards, the coaches, the parents who fill in as referee's and everyone else who makes football happen, we thank you!

: As the 2016 Masters kicks off and Major season begins in earnest, we remember what many consider to be one of the most impressive years in golf history.
In 1986, Greg Norman claimed 11 worldwide victories including four wins in Australia, two regular PGA TOUR events and his first Major win at The Open. This feat was highlighted by the Saturday Slam - where Norman led all four major championships after 54 holes.
"Although it doesn't seem like 30 years ago, looking back, each moment still resonates with me. I loved every second of it. There is a mini-story within each story. A story behind every shot. I can still remember what it felt like to be in the moment." - Greg Norman

PAST WINNER: 2010 - Bobby Gates
Playing in his first ever Nationwide Tour Event, American Bobby Gates' win outclassed a field that featured now PGA Tour stars Kyle Stanley and Keegan Bradley.
''I felt good the whole time, and I really felt every shot went where I wanted it to. The conditions were tough. That wind really made it a challenge. But I'm pretty happy with how it ended up.''
