Let’s take a trip down memory lane!

We’ve pulled a bunch of photos and Orientation handbooks from the archives to show you what O’Week at Flinders has looked like over the years. It’s safe to say a few things have changed (and a few haven’t!).

This collection spans from the 1960s right through to 2019. You can also see some of these items in person, along with even more Flinders history and artefacts, in the Flinders Through Time display on Level 3 of the Central Library.

A big thank you to FUSA and our archives team for providing these photos đź’›

Big things are happening at Central Library đź‘€

We’re very excited to share that Level 1 at Central Library is getting a major refresh.

Building on the new furniture introduced earlier this year, we’re creating a more comfortable, welcoming space for study, collaboration and everything in between.

✨ Want a sneak peek? Swipe through to see the concept images.

More details and key dates will be shared soon. Watch this space!

Celebrating through the power of stories 🖤💛❤️

This , we’re highlighting some beautiful children’s picture books by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander authors and illustrators — sharing stories of Country, culture, family, language and identity.

These books share First Nations voices, knowledge and experiences, creating opportunities for readers of all ages to learn, reflect and celebrate.

You can find these titles in the Library’s Teaching Resource Collection and Indigenous and Torres Strait Islander Collection.
