Long before the productions, technology and the team we have today, two brother started out behind the scenes at this very nightclub, HQ.

Two brothers, one shared dream and the spark of what would eventually become Novatech Creative Event Technology.

As we celebrate 25 years this month, we’re looking back at some of the venues, people, gigs, and memories that have shaped our story.

HQ remained close to our hearts for nearly 20 years with some epic gigs, setups and memories that last to this day.

Great to be at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre for Urzila Carlson’s Fatty on a Yacht Tour over the weekend.

A brilliant performance from the legend herself playing to an excited audience in the Arena.

We were delighted to return to the Festival Theatre, this time, with our friends at Adelaide Symphony Orchestra & Adelaide Festival Centre for A Night at the Ballet.

Performed across two evenings, the concert took guests through some of the most iconic music written for dance, and brought to life by the extraordinary musicians at the A*O.

Our partnership with the A*O has seen us support a wide range of remarkable performances over the years, delivering the technical production that helps each creative vision take shape on stage.

We’re proud to continue supporting South Australia’s artists, working alongside organisations like the A*O to create memorable live experiences and world-class performances.

Since 2015 we’ve continued to support the National NAIDOC Awards with technical delivery, helping create a setting worthy of celebrating First Nations award winners & nominees.

Over the years, we’ve been fortunate to travel with this major event as it has travelled across Australia from Adelaide, Darwin, Cairns, Sydney and back to Adelaide in 2024. This August, the awards will take place in Mparntwe (Alice Springs).

Each new location brings with it a new venue, a new creative vision and a new opportunity to deliver bigger and better tailored experiences for the remarkable recipients at the heart of the evening.

We’re thrilled to be working alongside Wrapped Creations once again, continuing our support of this important national celebration through technical production and delivery.

Last year, we helped light up the CBD with a striking projection from Mayfair Hotel featuring the work of artist, Sue Kneebone’s Flight of Souls & Skullthuggery. As part of the annual SALA Festival, we were proud to feature Sue’s work as a leading living artist.

We’re thrilled to be returning for another year, this time at the State Library, for a projection-based exhibition celebrating the remarkable work of South Australian artists.
